The house

Five bedrooms sleep up to 20 guests comfortably. Four bedrooms in the main house — two with king singles, two with queens — all fitted with orthopaedic mattresses, hotel-quality linen, central heating and air conditioning. The fifth bedroom is the Studio: a self-contained converted workshop set apart from the main house, with two king singles, its own AC, smart TV and valley views. It’s ideal for teenagers, a couple wanting their own space, or a remote worker needing quiet. Note: the Studio is available for bookings of 8 or more guests and involves a short flight of narrow stairs.

The open-plan living and dining area centres around a large handmade dining table — proper space for the whole group to sit down together. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances, and the Breville coffee machine (beans provided, bring your milk) means no one has to leave the house for their first coffee. The living room has an open fireplace with firewood supplied, mountain views through the window, and a smart TV for evenings in.

Two fully renovated bathrooms — one with a freestanding bath — plus a separate powder room means three toilets total. No queues.

Pet-friendly: Dog bed and bowls provided. The front garden is fully fenced — ideal for kids and dogs. Well-behaved pets welcome.

For families: High chair, portacot, books and jigsaws provided for little ones.

The outdoor spaces

The deck has a Weber Q for group barbecues. The private front garden has a firepit with plenty of firewood — perfect for an evening under the stars. The terraced garden at the back climbs three levels up to a pagoda with panoramic views over the valley: the best cold beer spot in Warburton after a big day on the trails. A lemon tree for your gin and tonic is a seasonal bonus.

For cyclists and trail runners

The hosts are mountain bikers and trail runners themselves, which shows in how the property is set up. Easy access to the Warburton MTB Bike Park shuttle pick-up, the Lilydale–Warburton Rail Trail, and the gravel trails around the region.
